You Are Home: Cameron Crowe Casts Patrick Fugit in We Bought a Zoo

The latest casting additions for Cameron Crowe's return to moviemaking (better known by its title, We Bought a Zoo) have been announced and it looks like the director is going home again. Patrick Fugit, who you remember as the Crowe-surrogate in Almost Famous, has been added as a co-star along with Elle Fanning. They join previously announced Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson. Huzzah to Fugit, but let's just take a moment to realize that 11-year-old Fanning will have worked with Crowe, Sofia Coppola, Francis Ford Coppola and J.J. Abrams before turning 13.
