Ho Ho Whoa: Joan Rivers Compares Susan Boyle's Christmas Record to Suicide
I don't have a lot to add to Joan Rivers's Twitter-based pan of the new Susan Boyle holiday album The Gift, which arrives in stores and online Nov. 9. I just really hope Boyle cites it verbatim on national TV, prompting Rivers's lengthy reconsideration at The Rumpus or somewhere and Boyle's subsequent olive branch in the comments. Also: Didn't Rivers's husband commit suicide? Tacky, tacky, tacky.

This comment is *especially* insensitive (tstl) and crass (even for Joan Rivers, who kinda gets a pass b/c of her iconic status) considering her own husband committed suicide. Any consideration for her daughter?
I understand people use humor to deflect from pain sometimes, but this minimizes the staggering statistics suicide.
I seriously doubt that pathetic Rivers even listened to the album. She has a habit of blabbering about things she doesn't even know anything about. This is espectially low even for her because she knows Susan won't fight back. I've heard samples of the album, and it's stunning. River's botox must have slipped into her ears.
Who is interested in what this over the hill bag has to say??? The Album is to die for.
