Help Movieline Guess the Plot of Judd Apatow's Next Film
As you've no doubt heard, Universal has staked June 1, 2012 as the date for the next directorial effort from Judd Apatow. But other than that -- and the fact that Apatow will write, produce and direct -- literally nothing is known about the project. Apatow hasn't even finished the script yet! Fortunately, that doesn't mean you can't speculate to your heart's desire. Will this next film be about a 30-year-old virgin? A remake of Junior? Something entirely unexpected? Use your imagination and leave your best guess in the comments. [Deadline]

It's about me. Don't tell anyone.
A shot for shot recreation of Another Stakeout with Will Ferrell as Dreyfus, Seth Rogen as Estevez, and Tom Berenger as Rosie O'Donnell.
Dennis Farina gets to retain his part.
Jeff, the Emmy-winning creator of one of TV's biggest hits (Steve Carell) has a severe case of writers block. With Gerald, a younger writer on the show (Seth Rogen or Jay Baruchel, whichever one's availible) lobbying for Jeff's job as showrunner, he calls up his former writing partner Neil (Paul Rudd), a pot smoking slacker with a thing for hipster girls half his age, to help out. Before long, Neil moves in with Jeff's family. However, Jeff's actress-turned-jewelry designer wife (Leslie Mann) has trouble dealing with Neil's renewed influence on Jeff's life and work and the show's cast (which features Jonah Hill, Aubrey Plaza and someone from Mad Men) is dissatisfied with Jeff and Neil's work. Along the way, Neil befriends Sarah, a stressed single mother (Kristen Wiig) whose son has autism, Jeff and his wife enter marriage counseling (overseen by Jason Segel) and Gerald is offered his own sitcom deal by the head of the network (an uncredited Ben Stiller). Jeff, Neil and Gerald's lives head into different and interesting paths in this serio-comedy by Judd Apatow.
Running Time: 3 hrs, 15 minutes (unrated edition: 3 hrs, 55 minutes)
I know that sounds like a pretty cliched Apatow film, but I'd actually love to see that movie. Am I a bad person?
It doesn't mean your bad; it just means that you're James L. Brooks.
