Kanye West Makes Over, Falls For Buxom Woman-Bird In Full Runaway Short

Well, kids, it's finally here: Kanye West's short film Runaway has made its way to the Internet in all of its 34-minute, mildly NSFW glory. And while it may not be a masterpiece, it definitely has something for everyone. Wooden acting? Check. A woman-bird with sporadic body tremors? Check. How about those gloomy woods Lars von Trier utilized so wonderfully in Antichrist? Yup, Kanye's got that, too.

The film, set to the music of Kanye's upcoming album, tells the story of a fallen woman-bird played by Victoria's Secret model Selita Ebanks, obviously cast for her extensive acting resume. The role mostly requires that she twitch from time to time and spend one extended scene smelling grass after she is herded with other animals in Kanye's pristine backyard. Needless to say, "November Rain" this is not.

Luckily, the scantily clad avian soon finds her way inside for a little dance session and before you know it is learning to drink from teacups and attending super fancy dinner parties with her savior / captor. Sadly our feathered friend soon realizes she is not meant for this world and departs in a blaze of glory. Cause nothing lasts forever, and we both know hearts can change.

  • Yikes, is this Kanye's version of Pygmalion? Maybe Obama was correct in his assessment.

  • Brian says:

Kanye West has never had talent nor will he ever have talent.. He is so full of himself his ego allows no room for anything like inspiration or ideas. He is a manufactured artist with no more talent than a ball of dirt on the floor. It will hopefully be soon enough that the world realizes he is as nothing and diverts their attention elsewhere from this pathetic little man....then and only then will he shrivel up and die......in anonymity..and fate willing abject poverty.

Oh God! This was so bad I don't even know where to begin. I'll just paraphrase something Kanye West says in this video "First rules is baby, never pay attention to anything Kanye West does". He sucks!

  • Shai says:

I like it. It's very nice. Plus it also portrays the reality of those, who are not accepting to things that are not considered to be "normal". Why live your life worrying about what others think? Do what makes you happy. If you live by being submissive to the "standards" you will always be a slave and will never be a person who loves freely or lives freely nor be in general a "joyful" person. I think Kanye is "original" and "uncut" not a "faker"! Great Job, Kanye!

  • gigi says:

ballet sequence was the coolest part... that's about it... everything else contrived & heavy-handed-- the metaphors seemed uncomfortably clumsy. Have always tried to avoid Kanye, but because I like to give everybody a chance, watched this hoping it was insight to the 'brilliance' of which I keep hearing.... oh well....
