NBC Orders Full Seasons of The Event, Outsourced and Law & Order: Los Angeles

outsourced5shows225.jpgFor those of you worried that The Event wouldn't be around long enough to explain the event, some good news: NBC has ordered a full-season of the freshman Lost wannabe. Additionally, the Peacock has picked up full seasons of Law & Order: Los Angeles and Outsourced. The latter decision begs the question: What happens to Parks & Recreation?

Presumably the beloved-but-under-viewed series still on course for a premiere in early 2011. NBC has six episodes in the can already, however, and it was predicted that they would be used if/when Outsourced flamed out. Now, that's all up in the air.

Over at Vulture, Joe Adalian says that NBC will probably make a Thursday night move...with The Apprentice. Would the Peacock attempt to air three hours of comedy on Thursday nights? That remains to be seen. But don't be totally surprised to see NBC try out another block of comedy on another night.

Lost in the shuffle of all these full-season pick-ups is the fact that Undercovers didn't get one. That could be because it's produced by Warner Bros. TV and not in-house at NBC Universal, or it could be because it simply isn't getting big enough ratings. Would Parks & Recreation fit on Wednesdays at 8 p.m.? Time will tell...

Its great news for me, I am picky about what I watch and the 2 new favorite of mine is outsourced and Law and Order: Los Angeles!! ye.....

  • I was wondering what had happened to Parks & Recreation. Thus far I enjoy Outsourced and would like to see it have a chance to develop, but if I had to choose between the two I'd say can it in favor of Parks if it comes down to that.
