Will Tom Hardy Play The Riddler in Batman 3?
Start your speculating, everyone! Director Christopher Nolan has apparently hired Inception star Tom Hardy for a "lead role" in the next Batman film. Says Deadline's Mike Fleming, "Insiders are keeping the role secret and won't even say if he's up for a villain role, but that seems a reasonable assumption." Indeed it does. Perhaps Warner Bro's gone off the deep end, and believe that Hardy can actually become Heath Ledger the same way he did Tom Berenger for Inception.
He could be The Riddler, because it does stick with Nolan's trend of casting people he's worked with before. i.e. Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Ken Watanabe. But my money is on Joseph Gordon-Levitt as The Riddler, and Hardy playing Bane.
I heard he's playing Logan Marshall Green.
I think it's great that they give more unknown actors a chance to enhance their carriers. Sometimes it's more fun to watch as well. I first Read "Tom Hanks", instead of Tom Hardy, and almost silled out my coffee: "NO! Not him AGAIN!!!"
He's bound to be the Riddler, but I think he should play Hush, Killer Croc or Black Mask
He needs to be Egghead from the Adam West series, I tell you!
I think if they want to keep it a darker batman like the previous one, go out and get Johnny Depp to play the "Riddler"
