NPR Bans Staff from Attending Stewart/Colbert Rallies
If you work at NPR and were hoping to attend the Jon Stewart/Stephen Colbert rallies on Washington, D.C. on Oct. 30, some bad news. According to an e-mail thread obtained by Poynter, all NPR staff members are forbidden from participating in the event. "[P]lease think twice about the message you may be sending about our objectivity before you attend a rally or post a bumper sticker or yard sign," wrote NPR chief executive Vivian Schiller. I didn't hear any such talk forbidding NPR workers from attending the Glenn Beckapalooza, the Tea Party people have obviously infiltrated NPR. We're so doomed.
They didn't need to issue a memo about the Beck rally ... for obvious reasons. There's plenty of meaty evidence of liberal media bias. This is just a tiny morsel.
I thought we were all Christine O'Donnell, which should make this memo moot, no?
