@ Obvious: That sure sounds like it would be an interesting book, should it ever actually be published. In the meantime, why don't you let the *actual, published writer/critic* have a shot before you throw in your two cents about their viewpoint being invalid because they happen to be gay.
Mr. Obvious - if you'd read the book, you'd know it was hardly a reduction of one's identity. It encompasses all the nuances of queer culture in the movies.
I generally try to read things before I criticize them. Perhaps you could do the same. In any case, you should take care to not let your mouth write a check your ass can't cash.
