· Having passed on Tales from the Gangster Squad (good move!), it appears that Ben Affleck is hoping to make The Trade his next film. According to a recent interview with MTV, Affleck is re-writing the script with his brother Casey, with eyes on co-starring in the film with Matt Damon. No word on which multi-hyphenate would direct, but Affleck even tossed Damon's name into the ring as a possibility. The long-rumored project is about a pair of New York Yankees who swapped wives in the '70s. Stay classy, Bronx Bombers. [MTV]

· Another day, another project Darren Aronofsky won't be directing. Screenwriter Guillermo Arriaga told CNN Mexico that the Black Swan director will make The Tiger his next film. Just as soon as he's done not directing Preacher and Wolverine 2. Maybe he can direct The Trade? [Coming Soon]

· Worried that Lou Dobbs is just another in a long line of hypocrites? Don't be!
