"That is neither a bird or a plane; I can clearly identify it as Superman as a result of his excessive and drawn-out slow motion."

  • Mike the Movie Tyke says:

He couldn't get owls to fly, so why Superman?

  • The Winchester says:

As long as Nicolas Cage is somehow involved, it has my $10 opening weekend.

  • Dimo says:

Wow, this is quite a surprise indeed.

  • casting couch says:

Good choice. Snyder has great style. Who's the writer for this Supes movie?

  • Trace says:

The combined self-seriousness of Nolan and Zack Synder...
...the only way this could POSSIBLY not be a waste of time is if it didn't have lex Luther in it.

  • Colander says:

Enhh...as of now David Goyer. He'll probably end up with final credit, but I highly doubt his hands will be the only ones to have touched that script. This is too important a reboot to leave to the Blade Trinity dude.

  • TurdBlossom says:

    Dear Zack
    Please note the following...
    1. No origin stories. Done. To. Death.
    2. Don't use Lex Luthor as the main villian (it's been done)
    3. Same goes with the Phantom Zone Villians
    4. Please use any of the following...Doomsday, Darkseid, Granny Goodness, Metalo, Bizzaro, or Brainiac.
    5. Get the casting for Supes, Louis, Jimmy and Perry, and Lex (if he makes an appearance) right (personally I thought Brandon Routh was just fine).
    6. Don't skimp on the action in favor of angst.
    7. Incorporate humour, but not camp.
    Tks.

Wow I can not wait. I just hope that movie will be as good as lease 300.

  • Nathan K says:

Snyder should cast Dwayne Johnson as Clark Kent/Superman, and Ed O'Neil as Perry White. I'd like to see Smith Cho as Lois Lane, and John Cena as Zod.

  • HwoodHills says:

    Please stop your mocking.
    There's only ONE Superman choice...
Either Jon Hamm or that kid from "Jersey Shore" with the stomach muscles.
(I think they call him, "The Doucheiation"?)

  • Charaze says:

This'll be refreshing. I've always admired Zack Snyder's works and he will definitely bring Superman to another level.

  • 2+2=4 says:

'ONE' usually mean one name, not two names, lol. Even if you are being sarcastic.
Jon Hamm is not going to be Supe, sorry. Not the "man in blue tights with red cape" type. With Nolan and Snyder leading this, I can bet no Ryan Reynolds, Chris Evans or any of these poor shmocks neither (thank 'nonexistent supreme being').
I have to agree with one of the comments above, Brandon Routh is a good choice, but the studio will be against it.
Whoever they chose, I think Snyder is great for this job, Watchman was one of the best in 2009. And the slow motion is really fine for me, I don't approve the mocking. As opposed to others who use slow-mo just for pointless waste of time, Snyder does it with a purpose, there is a meaning for it. Anywho, suddenly this project is a big interest to me.

I think is a good idea. If used right, Zod can be an amazing foe. He will kick Superman's ass for almost the entire movie. Don't forget Zod is a General in charge of Krypton's armada.
    Man, I'n exited!!!!.
