What's On: Bad Attitudes on The Good Guys
The Good Guys is a funny show, Colin Hanks gives a hell of an interview, and tonight's episode of the departing Fox series deals with a suspicious character who works with our lead protagonists. Elsewhere on the tube, Medium gets mysterious and Outlaw gets kind of heart-breaking.
Medium [CBS, 8 PM]
Allison notices weird signals above people's heads and figures they have something to do with soulmate designation. Because life is like The Sims for this woman.
The Good Guys [Fox, 9 PM]
While Liz investigates a prostitution ring, Dan and Jack are forced to work with an arrogant forensics guy. I'm going to miss the show. Colin Hanks is nicely befuddled as Jack, and Bradley Whitford is kind of unforgettable as Dan. Catch it while you still can.
Outlaw [NBC, 10 PM]
Garza works for an aloof mother whose infant dies when she leaves him in a hot car. SNL alum and stand-up comic Jay Mohr guest-stars for some reason.
Walk the Line [Fox, 8 PM]
Hopefully you've forgiven Joaquin Pheonix for all that "performance art" he tried on us in the past couple years. Here's his Oscar-nominated turn as Johnny Cash in a biopic of the musician's life. Reese Witherspoon won an Oscar for her performance as June Carter Cash, which is adequate compensation for under-rewarded role in Election.
