Welcome to Hollywood Ink... in 3D!

3d_glasses_225.jpgIt's a stereoscopic smorgasboard of trade news, coming at you like a N'avi on a banshee or a flying penis out of the mouth of razor-toothed CGI fish. This isn't the cheap, knock-off stuff either, so keep your judgments to yourself, James Cameron; today's Hollywood Ink was conceived in 3D, produced in 3D, and commences after the jump in glorious 3D. Got your glasses?

· Sinqua Walls, Chris Carmack, Alyssa Diaz and Joel David Moore are among the actors signing up for Shark Night 3D -- from the director of Snakes on a Plane and two installments of the Final Destination franchise. Yes, there is actually a movie in development called Shark Night 3D, and it is about sharks terrorizing young people getting away at a freshwater lake. Shark Night 3D. Sheesh. Because Fins 'N' Tits 3D was taken, I presume. [THR]

· Speaking of Final Destination, the next, Mlies Fisher-starring installment

of the series -- a.k.a. 5nal Destination -- has added David Koechner, Nicholas D'Agosto, P.J. Byrne and Ellen Wroe to its sterling cast. Like its franchise predecessor, the film's elaborate, ridiculous deaths will be shot is glorious-ish 3D. [THR]

· "Jonathan Liebesman has signed a deal to direct a sequel to Clash of the Titans for Warner Bros. and Legendary," according to THR. Sounds like someone's "Kraken" some Champagne today! Hey-ohhhh. Anyway, this will also be in 3D, and you don't have to think about it again for at least another 18 months. [THR]

· Did anyone here mention that Warner Bros. is planning a 3D WWII movie about the Battle of Midway? Oh. Well. Since everybody else is rehashing content, just thought I might give it a shot as well. Anyway, this is happening. [Movieline]
