TV Bites: Jon Hamm and Paul Giamatti Find Their Way to 30 Rock

hamm_30rock_225.jpgAlso in this morning's TV Bites: Josh Schwartz brings The O.C. to DC... someone from Twilight -- K-Stew? R-Patz? -- is now part of ABC's No Ordinary Family... and slightly more ahead.

· Good news, fans of funny! According to Tina Fey, the upcoming live episode of 30 Rock will mark the return of Jon Hamm to the Emmy-losing series. While on the Emmy Red Carpet last night, Fey also revealed that Paul Giamatti would appear in the season's second episode as -- wait for it -- a troll-like video editor from Staten Island. High fives all around. [EW/Ausiello Files]

· Here's a show I'll definitely watch and love: Gossip Girl creator Josh Schwartz and his producing partner Stephanie Savage have landed a pilot order at ABC. They'll produce an untitled DC-set drama that follows the lives of 20-something politicos through the trials and tribulations of life inside the Beltway. Welcome to the DC, bitch, etc. [Variety]

· Sorry Twi-hards; if you guessed Robert Pattinson, you lost. The mystery Twilight cast member heading to ABC's superhero dramedy No Ordinary Family is none other than Jackson Rathbone. He'll play a high school student... who may or may not be a vampire! No, he's not. He's just a regular high school student. [EW/Ausiello Files]

· How did George Clooney prepare for his incredibly charming speech at the Emmys last night? By playing basketball with John Krasinski. Thanks, THR! [THR]
