Anna Paquin and Kristen Bell have just been cast in the troubled Wes Craven film, joining an already overcrowded call sheet that features -- deep breath -- Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox Arquette, David Arquette, Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin, Anthony Anderson, Adam Brody, Marley Shelton, Alison Brie and Mary McDonnell. Has Anna Paquin completely abandoned "serious" acting? Apparently she really likes the genre, but doesn't she risk getting pigeon-holed as a high-end scream queen? Or perhaps this is all immaterial b/c if/when "Margaret" comes back she'll be back on the festival circuit? Give Movieline's reporting about Scream 4 being in trouble (crappy script, unhappy actors, disgruntled Craven) why sign on now?

So you guys are going to continue trumpeting a source that was proven to be unreliable? One person reported the trouble and all of her claims were squashed! Does anyone do any research when reporting anymore or is it all about racing to release any "news" first?
