Or at least the people who play them did. Yesterday in a private residence in Malibu, California, Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer were married. Their guests included Elijah Wood, Michael Emerson (Ben Linus from Lost) and his wife, True Blood co-star Carrie Preston, who watched as the couple exchanged vows under a tent across from the beach.
It's been a whirlwind relationship for the couple -- they were engaged last August after they began dating a few months after filming for True Blood began in 2008. Paquin, 28, and Moyer, 40, however waited until February 2009 until they revealed they were just as passionate about each other off-screen as they were on-screen. And funnily enough, their first kiss was actually on the show.
But for the newlyweds' sake, let's hope that Alexander Skarsgård doesn't suddenly show up at the honeymoon and seem a whole bunch more interesting and charismatic than the groom.

WOW, this cover is totally inappropriate. What do I tell my kids when they walk past it in the store?
r u serious? I mean i know its a little 'brutal' with the blood etc but its not near as sexually charged as many of Rolling Stones previous covers. What about the one where a girl (can't remember who for the life of me right now!) was naked with only a guys hands covering her breasts? I'd rather a bloodlusty cover then a half naked girl cover to be honest (in the kid sense anyway).
As for your kids seeing it, I too have children and am not to fond of the lack of censorship these days but RS is usually higher up on the shelves and with all the other (by far worse) sexually explicit covers like Maxum to name a few that are a constant with half naked women, I would hope as a parent it would just be a given to not let ur children wander over there unsupervised. And the heads up regarding the cover given by websites like this one can be more of a preventive tool for us parents.
I love the cover and the show/books. I see it as art and have and will continue to both shield and educate my children against all the never ending explicit material that will no doubt never go away. 🙂
