New Nikita Trailer Will Make a Fine Tomb Raider II Video Sequence

The CW is intent on adding mystique to its new action series Nikita, and the new trailer decks out star Maggie Q in a scarlet gown and surrounds her with heartwrenching flashback videos. She is all ready to star in her own Playstation game in 1997.

Look, CW: Lara Croft never fooled us into believing Tomb Raider 4: Raiding Tombs for a Fourth Time was a more alluring chapter simply because she donned a gown. This still looks like a spookily-lit diversion before we watch Maggie pull an M16 out of her knapsack, grunt like a Vivid Video vixen, and shoot another damn snow leopard (it could also double as forgotten footage from The Cell). At any rate, our godmother Peta Wilson never intended it this way.

Then again, as proven by Hot in Cleveland and now Melissa & Joey, maybe "dated" is finally hip.
