Kenny Powers Rides Again in the New Eastbound and Down Teaser

Eastbound and Down ended last season with Danny McBride's baseball washout, Kenny Powers, abandoning his true love after by leaving her at a gas station and heading to Mexico. Apparently, he just got there.

HBO has released a new teaser promo for the sophomore series -- it returns Sept. 26 with Bored to Death, making for quite a pair of strange bedfellows -- and since it's called "Moped Tease," you can pretty much know what you're going to get. Kenny Powers. Riding a moped. Defiantly. There are shots of McBride wearing his customary black button-down -- as well as his customary wife-beater -- and he looks no worse for wear now that his life is once again in tatters. If you like McBride's arrogant obtuseness, this teaser will make you smile. If not, perhaps catch up with the first season now available on iTunes and learn to like it.
