· Some people wake up and discover they're out of orange juice; Neil Patrick Harris wakes up and discovers that he received another Emmy nomination. The How I Met Your Mother star -- who already has two nods this year for that show and his guest appearance on Glee -- is now eligible for an Emmy in the Outstanding Special Class Programs category for hosting the Tony Awards. Harris was initially left off the list because of a balloting snafu. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go buy more orange juice. [LAT/Gold Derby]

· NBC continues to make some good decisions. The Peacock has grabbed Peter Tolan's (Rescue Me) new workplace comedy, Brave New World, and given it a pilot commitment. The series will focus on the "staff at a Plymouth Plantation-type living museum that have people reenact the way the Pilgrims once went about their days." So it's Party Down with Pilgrim costumes? Yes, please. [Deadline]

· John Hamburg -- who wrote all three Meet the Parents films and wrote and directed I Love You, Man -- has signed a blind script deal with 20th Century Fox TV to develop a comedy series project targeted for the 2011/2012 season. Check back here in a year to find out details like the premise. [Deadline]

· Warehouse 13 has gotten slightly more chosen. Judd Hirsch -- who doesn't work enough, really -- will guest star as Saul Rubinek's estranged father. [EW]

· Bret Harrison -- late of Reaper -- will appear on V as a scientist...with answers. [EW]

· True Blood's Kevin Alejandro will shake up the cast of Parenthood in a guest arc. [EW]

· Finally, how did Jane Lynch find out she was hosting Saturday Night Live in October? "I said, 'Lady, you're doing Saturday Night Live. And she literally wrote back, 'What are you talking about?'" Ryan Murphy, ladies and gentleman! [THR]
