Bill O'Reilly Knows One Thing, and It's When Jennifer Aniston is Setting a Bad Example
Conservative media outlets have finally picked up on the the Jennifer Aniston/Jason Bateman comedy The Switch, where a sperm donor mix-up causes romantic confusion. Yesterday, Bill O'Reilly made the hard decision to call Aniston "destructive to our society" for making a benign statement during her Switch press tour about how women can have kids without men. Can you handle the video? Will you?
Aniston's quote: "Women are realizing more and more...that they don't have to settle with a man just to have that child."
Let's go to the tape.
In case you missed O'Reilly's big boldface quote, it's "She's throwing a message out to 12-year-olds and 13-year-olds that, 'Hey you don't need a guy. You don't need a dad.' That is destructive to our society."
A regular Murphy Brown, this Aniston character is. I'm mostly peeved that O'Reilly's co-panelists conceded with that whole, "I'll agree she's glamorizing single parenthood" soundbite, but oh well. I'm waiting for them to uncover how Courteney Cox encourages real-live cougars to try kitschy sarcasm.

Go, O'Reilly!! Good to see someone standing up for common sense!
It's too bad to see the USA become disgraced by this type of behavior before the rest of the world.
Yet Bill and the rest of his conservative crew seem to have no problem with unwed Laura Ingrahm adopting two children. Frankly, Joan Crawford was more qualified.
What year is it again?
O'Reilly has earned the right to speak out for family values! He once made the ultimate sacrifice to protect his own family and shield the 12 and 13-year-olds across the land: By entering into a confidential settlement after being sued for sexual harassment.
Indeed! And women should also get back into the kitchen. Amirite?
What year is it again?? Really? Last time I checked 80% of rapists come from fatherless homes. 71% of high school dropouts come from fatherless homes. 85% of youths sitting in prisons grew up in a fatherless home. 63% of youth suicides are from fatherless homes. You need both a Mom AND a Dad to raise a family!!
I'd love to see where you got these numbers...
Jennifer Aniston is arrogant and obviously epitomizes the spoiled brat, Hollywood diva mentality. Her statement was irresponsible and predictably deliberate coming from the in denial Hollywood bubble. She was speaking for all women which she has no right to in saying that being a single mother is the way to go and that a child doesn't need a father rather than qualifying it as her personal choice and going no further than that. Bill O'Reilly was right on with his criticism of her and Aniston made herself look like more of an idiot by saying that his remarks don't deserve a response and that he's a neanderthal. But it doesn't surprise me because Jennifer Aniston has been brainwashed with Hollywood promiscuousness and nobody can tell her anything.
Can O'Reilly, just once, let anyone who disagrees with him, get a word in edgewise. While the panelists on this topic try to give their perspective, he won't shut his mouth. They however, don't interrupt him once.
