Watch TBS Reconstruct Conan in New, Old-Timey Promo
With just three months until Conan O'Brien makes his late night debut on cable, TBS has unveiled a new 10-second ad in which the red-headed comedian is literally reconstructed with the use of planes, cranes, and hair dye. A Pythonesque flourish, a spot of shameless TBS propaganda ("the network that is rebuilding NBC's Humpty Dumpty") or just the latest in the artsy, old-fashioned video movement spearheaded by Joseph Gordon-Levitt? Decide for yourself after the jump.

Uh...Joseph Gordon-Levitt? I think you mean Monty Python, pal.
@Steve, I was going to comment the same thing. Julie have you never seen Monty Python? Pure craziness!
More specifically, Terry Gilliam, who did the animations for Monty Python
@Steve Run away....run away!!!!
God I hate their tagline. It's almost as bad as that yogurt company one.. "I can appreciate that".. YOU CAN APPRECIATE WHAT? YOGURT?
Cool promo though.
That was what I first thought of too, but it's clear that whoever did the You Can't Do That On Television intro was a fan of Terry Gilliam's animation style.
I think that Conan can keep some (if not all) of the intellectual property from his NBC days since you can see that the Masturbating Bear controls Conan.
