Britney Spears Will Appear in Drug-Fueled Glee Episode About Her

Maybe after the Britney Spears episode, Glee creator Ryan Murphy will concentrate on the show's core characters. Murphy spoke to Ryan Seacrest on his radio show this morning and confirmed the speculation that Britney would appear on the Fox hit: "Britney, I think 100% is going to be on the episode, which is exciting." But what role will she play?

Murphy still isn't sure, but considering the conceit of the episode -- that four of the McKinley High School students will be put under anesthesia by John Stamos's dentist character and have Britney-related hallucinations -- she could literally appear as anyone. (Seacrest's co-host suggested the pop star could appear as a dental hygienist, which sounds more than plausible.)

The Glee co-executive producer also denied a rumor that a Michael Jackson tribute episode was forthcoming because of rights issues, but then then allowed that Jackson was still on his dream list for the post-Super Bowl episode with Prince and The Beatles. Oh Ryan, you know it's going to be The Beatles -- you don't see Prince sending you mix tapes, do you?
