The latest Ricky Gervais/Stephen Merchant comedy Cemetery Junction teased American moviegoers for months before finally shuffling off to the DVD rosters, but here's good-ish news: Junction will receive a one-week theatrical run -- starting this Friday in Glendale! -- before arriving on video Aug. 17. I was so sad when this wasn't released in theaters! It could have at least had a limited run in NYC and LA. I was looking forward to seeing it on the big screen.
Saw it today. The fact that this didn't get a theatrical release while "The Invention of Lying" did is downright depressing.
