CHiPs Remake!

CHiPsThumbnail.jpgRemember that summer night back in 1983 when you begged a higher power to revive the homoerotic NBC cop series CHiPs, even if it meant you had to burn your acid-washed jeans? Well, prep the lighter fluid because That '70s Show star Topher Grace is spearheading a remake at Warner Bros Television. Grace and Numbers creators Nicolas Falacci and Cheryl Heuton, who will write and exec produce the project, have not yet approached networks about the reboot. [Deadline]

He's doing this remake with his producing partner (read: former assistant) Gordon Kaywin. You probably don't know him (why should you) but he's the creep that terrorized the Arizona set of "Kids in America" (the movie Topher and he came up with and shot a few years ago) with behavior worthy of the most pedantic producer stereotypes.
Topher was nothing but pleasant, but his continued relationship with that douche-nozzle really hinders his nice guy cred.
Oh yeah, and the movie is so bad it hasn't been released yet.
