That's not really a "new" logo. It's just a minor variation on the logo the comic's been using since the 80's.

FYI this Avengers is based off of the comic, and has nothing to do with 90's Uma Thurman film that was a remake of the old tv series that just happened to share the same name.
You all were kidding, right? You KNEW it was the comic Avengers, right? right?
