Joseph Gordon-Levitt Bloodies Self In The Name Of Art
Joseph Gordon-Levitt: old-fashioned song and dance man, zero-gravity pugilist, and one of the best actors of his generation. And evidently so Method that he'll gash the hell out of his arm just to make sure he's playing a bike messenger correctly.
JGL is in New York City filming Premium Rush, playing a bike messenger on the run from a dirty cop. As any New Yorker can tell you, the bike messengers there are nuts, and it looks like Joe captured their insane daredevil ways perfectly, accidentally slamming into the back of a cab after admittedly going too fast.
He's fine, albeit a bit bloody and he even captured the whole thing on camera to share on his website. If you're not too squeamish about a bit of blood, take a look at the footage, shot by his director, David Koepp.
