Casey Affleck Hit With Second Sexual Harassment Suit
We've already heard that one of the producers of Casey Affleck's upcoming Joaquin Phoenix mockumentary is suing Affleck for sexual harassment, alleging that he created an uncomfortable work environment and attempted to sleep with her. But now there's a second harassment suit, this time filed by his female director of photography.
Cinematographer Magdalena Gorka claims that Affleck snuck into the bed where Gorka was sleeping and attempted to initiate some kind of sexual shenanigans: "During the middle of the night, [Gorka] awoke to find Affleck lying in the bed next to her...Unbeknownst to [Gorka], Affleck had entered the bedroom while she was asleep and crawled into the bed. When she woke up, Affleck was curled up next to her in the bed wearing only his underwear and a T-shirt. He had his arm around her, was caressing her back, his face was within inches of hers and his breath reeked of alcohol."
Gorka left the project the next day and only returned to it when a female producer (ironically the same producer who is also suing Affleck) was hired and assured her that she would always be present.
Gorka also claims that she was continually verbally berated, was denied her initial agreed-upon salary and was stripped of her on-screen credit as director of photography on the film.
No response yet from Affleck but it's definitely seeming that the making of the movie is going to be infinitely more fascinating to watch than the film itself.

Could this all be an elaborate stunt to get people interested in the film?
If so, it isn't working.
I don't think anyone will be interested in it seeing as Casey Affleck is a talentless nobody.
OK, honestly, none of this sounds any worse than what happens at any party (or simply a drunken night) ever.
He tried to hit on the producer and then fooled around(?) with some other chick or something similar. WOW. What a terrible person.
He was drunk and got into a bed with a female and put his arm around her. OK. Tell him to get out. Done. Solved. What's the big deal? Does this actually scar you for life or something? Are you telling me that this wouldn't simply give you a little ego boost knowing that you're attractive and a guy tried to get with you?
Sure, the second one doesn't sound exactly "classy", but, I mean, he was drunk. Stuff happens.
If women like these two actually represented how women act, our race would die out. Nobody would be able to even make a passing comment or have sex when another woman knows it's going on without getting sued. This is ridiculous.
Sure, it was on a movie shoot-- But this wasn't exactly a typical movie shoot, I think we can all agree on that...
@muffin7
He was her boss. Do you not know what sexual harassment is?
