Our Long National Nightmare Is Over: Snooki Released From Jail

snooki_225.jpgLike Martin Luther King, Jr., Rosa Parks and Nelson Mandela, noted freedom fighter Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, was unjustly incarcerated by a fearful nation, who were frightened by her courageous calls for social justice and universal equality. Or maybe she's just a drunk broad who got picked up by the police. But now she's free!

After being arrested by the Seaside Heights, NJ police for "disorderly conduct" yesterday afternoon, Snooki was released on a summons. A police spokesman helpfully explained that "A summons means she'll get a court date, but doesn't have to pay bail to get out of jail. She'll pay a fine when assessed [by a judge]."

Not bad, Snooki! No bail, just a small fine, and what a fine way to let everyone know that your new season of Jersey Shore is starting up soon. But even you might want to be careful of your overtanning. In some of your arrest photos, you bear an uncanny resemblance to a transsexual Oompah Loompah.

  • VERY INTRESTING LIKE ARTIE JOHNSON SAYS ON THE OLD TV COMEDY SHOW THE LAUGH IN LOL :+)

  • howard says:

If Snookie hadn't made a stink about Obama's tanning tax, would this have rated "news"? Would the author have pimped the tanning joke? Or is Dixon Gaines in a dead-end joke of job and wanting to play with the big boys?

  • Anne says:

Are they kidding me? Comparing some no-class reality show idiot to the likes of Martin Luther King, Jr., Rosa Parks and Nelson Mandela? Please. She couldn't shine their shoes!

  • 123 says:

Anne, they weren't being serious in the comparison. They were making fun of how insignificant and meaningless she is compared to those that have actually contributed something of worth to society.

The writer was obviously trying (poorly) to emulate the latest snarky school of journalists, (or should I say urinalists?) who try ever so painfully to be hip, but miss it by so far that there is really no yardstick to accurately measure their failure.
Personally, as someone who is old enough to actually remember the era of the Civil Rights Movement first hand, I was offended to have the names of these pioneers of race relations demeaned by being included in this waste of keystrokes.
Why does this current generation find losers, failure and emotional cripples to be their favorite source of entertainment? It must be that there aren't many of the old carnival freak shows left, so they've allowed this crap to take their place...

  • annon says:

I am so sick and tired of hearing about this piss poor person. her show sucks and is self centered and this was just antics that she is using to get people to watch. she probable got the idea from listening to all the mel gibson stuff and though getting cops involved would bring her attension. This "Thing" needs to be pulled from TV all together.
