Oliver Stone to Jews: Sorry!
It was just a matter of time before Oliver Stone backtracked on his recent comments about Hitler, the Holocaust, the Israeli lobby in the US and "the Jewish domination of the media." And so, late Monday, the apologies flowed.
"In trying to make a broader historical point about the range of atrocities the Germans committed against many people, I made a clumsy association about the Holocaust, for which I am sorry and I regret. Jews obviously do not control media or any other industry," he said according to the LAT, adding: "The fact that the Holocaust is still a very important, vivid and current matter today is, in fact, a great credit to the very hard work of a broad coalition of people committed to the remembrance of this atrocity -- and it was an atrocity."
Israel, meanwhile, apparently remains on the hook. Baby steps, people.

What's wrong with Hollywood?
Do any of them have the courage to stand by their nutty anti-Semitic beliefs?
Once or twice a year (like for decades!) someone in the spotlight says something about the Jewish influence in Show Biz. DUH! They friggin' invented it, y'all! Without Eastern European Jews there wouldn't be a film industry! Of course they have a lot of influence! That's like saying BP knows where there are a lot of oil wells! Mr. Stone is Jewish on his father's side. His mother is French and Catholic, I believe. I don't consider him anti-semitic or a self-hating Jew. I worked for 48 yrs. behind-the-scenes in show biz in different areas and almost always worked for a Jewish boss. I'm not Jewish, by the way. I saw many men like Stone over the years who weren't quite as successful as some of their fellow Hebrews. Jealousy always reigned high and anti-semitic remarks were made behind someone's back byanother Jewish person. Yes, it helps if you're Jewish, half-Jewish, married to someone Jewish or engaged to a Jewish guy/gal if you want a foot in the door. But if your movies stink and don't bring in the bucks, bein' Kosher ain't gonna help ya. You can't pour a bottle of Kor's Very Hollywood on a dead dog and pretend it doesn't stink. Mr. Stone's films have not been up to his usual genius for a while. Whatever happened to Wall Street II? He is frustrated but he isn't anti-semitic. Can't we retire that old, faded jersey? Please?
He says the Jews control Hollywood and the Jews get his show cancelled. But then he had to apologize saying they don't control hollywood? Hmmm... makes u wonder what more news info we might of.gotten or movies we might of seen if there were a broader base of religions in our entertainment CEO's.
