Mad Men Fails to Charm Real Life Ad Age Reporter
Even 46 years later, Don Draper can't catch a break from Ad Age. Columnist Rance Crain takes Mad Men to task for how the season premiere represented Don's failed lunch interview with the publication's wooden-legged reporter: "No. 1, we never did interviews over lunch; No. 2, we didn't take notes in shorthand; No. 3 we didn't ask cute-ass questions; and No. 4, our pictures were never bigger than our stories." No truth to the rumor that Roger Sterling is lining his birdcage with printouts of this story. [Ad Age]

Dear Ad Age, the room for people displeased with their onscreen portrayal is already full of policemen, lawyers, and black people. Please get in line.
No. 5, we were never important enough to have snagged an interview with Don Draper.
No one cares about the accurate representation of an industry rag on the tele. I now move to weep for the shocking untruths told about Ad Age.
No 5. Even 46 years later, we are still not relevant.
Someone should tell Nikki.
