So what's the deal with Gwyneth Paltrow's new radio single (!), Country Strong? Well, that'd be the first cut from the soundtrack of the Shana Feste-helmed movie by the same name (formerly called Love Don't Let Me Down), and now that it's set for a December 22 release, her singing costar Garrett Hedlund (who also toplines Tron Legacy that month) is sure going to have an interesting winter.

As for how Paltrow does as a radio-friendly, blonde country music fembot, she acquits herself admirably. But then, we already knew she was a fiend for the microphone.
