This is clearly a marketing ploy to appeal to the enormous xenophobe-by-proxy market.
Its possibly a matter of name recognition. I think EVERYONE knows Jeff Dunham without having to go to IMDB. Ron Livinston, Bruce Greenwood, and Kristen Schall are well know, but normally only when you see their face. David Walliams is also well known, but in Britain. I'm still worried that this is a reboot/remake of the french film "The Dinner Game".

Wow, I was probably going to go see Dinner For Schmucks at the theater, but now that I know Jeff Dunham is in it, I may wait until never. Or at least until a version that edits out all his scenes hits YouTube. Or until I get brain damaged in an animal attack and find him funny. Actually, now that I got that out, I'll probably go see it after all. (but seriously, Jeff Dunham w/Steve Carell and Paul Rudd? That's like Carrot Top in a Monty Python movie)
