Joshua Jackson Revives His Dawson's Creek Character For One Afternoon

While superheroes like the Green Lantern and the Green Hornet ruled Comic-Con this weekend, one unlikely '90s antihero held court outside of the San Diego convention center, hoping to reintroduce himself to the world. Behold, the reemergence of Pacey Witter -- the Dawson's Creek crush object played by Joshua Jackson.

In front of a boom box blaring the Dawson's Creek theme song, Jackson (in full Pacey-esque regalia) read his own fan fiction to a group of about 20 fans (or intrigued onlookers) before dispersing photocopies to people on the convention center lawn and posing for photos. The stunt was reportedly filmed for an upcoming Funny or Die video.

Jackson was at Comic-Con to promote his Fox series Fringe.
