Sarah Palin and Kate Gosselin to Camp Together For Cable; Apocalypse Imminent
If you thought that Sarah Palin and Kate Gosselin could not shamelessly exploit themselves and/or their families anymore than they already have, here is a rumor that will make your stomach churn this Friday afternoon. Note: It should be taken with a grain of salt and a swig of Pepcid.
In Touch is reporting that TLC is planning a very special premiere of Kate Plus Eight, in which Kate and Sarah Palin take the Gosselin brood of eight camping in Alaska. The cross-promotional strategy would give TLC viewers a soft introduction to the network's new series Sarah Palin's Alaska, the Mark Burnett-produced reality vehicle in which the former vice presidential candidate shows off her home state.
It goes like this:
"Sarah, Kate and the kids will go camping," a source says, adding that Sarah's father, a retired science teacher, and brother, a third-grade educator, will conduct a hands-on natural history lesson for 9-year-old twins Mady and Cara, and 6-year-old sextuplets Aaden, Joel, Collin, Leah, Hannah and Alexis. A mother of a big family herself, former vice presidential candidate Sarah is thrilled about the upcoming visit. "She's excited because it will be fun and educational for the children. Sarah will even teach Kate how to avoid bears!" the insider adds.
If this is true, imagine the other Palin-TLC crossovers that Discovery Communication is brainstorming: Sarah Palin meets American Choppers or Extreme Poodles, anyone? In any case, the Gosselin and Palin should not be the only ones stocking up on bottled water. Ready your fallout shelter accordingly.

I'm just looking forward to all the things in nature the Palins will point at and give educational information on - only to finish up each lesson with the phrase, "...and that's another piece of evidence proving that Evolution is a lie."
You know, when I read in the tabloids recently that Kate had gotten a boob lift, this wasn't what I had pictured in my mind.
The kids probably had a great time camping. It must be really fun for them to get out and do stuff like this. Thanks for sharing.
clearly I'm sure I'm not the only person to feel this way.
