Movieline's Week in Review: We've Only Just Begun
The time just flies by at Movieline HQ, where another week comes to a close with yet another stirring Week in Review. Spend some time catching up on what you might have missed, and stick around to avoid missing all the great coverage Kyle and Dixon have coming up this weekend from Comic-Con. Take it away, fellas! And have a good one!
· Comic-Con is upon us! We previewed what to look for and hit the panel front super hard. There's more where that came from this weekend -- don't go anywhere.
· Mad Men's season premiere loomed as well -- that calls for burning questions and party games.
· Movieline's Vault section finally opened for business -- and you will want to do business there.
· Many thanks to our eclectic gang of interviwees, including Zac Efron, Tina Fey, Valerie Plame Wilson, Nicolas Winding Refn, Liz Phair, Jujubee and Nina Flowers and Verge designee Hutch Dano.
· It was a busy week for Two-Minute Verdicts, which went out to new trailers for Tron Legacy, The Town, The Company Men, Buried, The Debt, Faster, Stone, Miral, and the glorious Sharktopus.
· We found Amy Ryan's dream role, The Office notwithstanding.
· Recaps! So many recaps, including True Blood, Warehouse 13, The Bachelorette, Real Housewives of NJ, and a whole lotta Big Brother.
· Inception's opening weekend grossed $30 million for every minute Michael Caine was onscreen.
· We asked why our most technology-obsessed filmmakers make movies that are anti-technology? And, only slightly off-topic, why was Luis Guzman wearing that?
