Listen to the Daft Punk Score for Tron Legacy
Remember how the trailer for Tron Legacy looked an awful lot like a Christopher Nolan movie? The pancake lovers did the highly anticipated score for the highly anticipated sequel and, thanks to the magic of the Internet, parts of it have appeared online. Click ahead to hear the awesome.
The very noisy Web site for Tron Legacy offers visitors six Daft Punk tracks from the film -- labeled Tracks 1-6 for easy reference -- and they sound positively Zimmer-ian, with a hint of the futuristic robot electronica that Punk is known for. Listen to "Track 5" below -- the money-shot trailer track -- to prepare yourself for its inevitable use in every action trailer for the next decade.

Sounds like Dark Knight.
Daft Punk predate the awful, awful descriptor "electronica"
I think this might be what you call "post-good."
_Homework_ era Daft Punk lives on in my heart.
Yeah I agree with Shawn above sounds like Dark Knight
This track is not really a fair representation of the whole score. As a whole, it maintains the 80s-vintage feel of Tron while adding a contemporary, yet timeless, feel of modernity by employing a precise ratio of orchestral and electronic elements. One of the best scores I've heard in a long, long time.
