Introducing The Vault: A Blast From the Past Through Movieline's Archives

As a big story in this weekend's NYT Magazine declaims, "The Web Means the End of Forgetting." But that's only part of the truth when it comes to The Vault, the long-awaited archive of classic interviews, features and other Hollywood coverage from Movieline's original print era up to today. Now the Web means the start of remembering -- especially when it comes to what an ungodly ego Chevy Chase had 20 years ago.

Or what Bruce Willis was like in the dawn of megastardom. (Hint: Not a whole lot different than he is now, though maybe a little more... earnest.) Or just how much money Daryl Hannah came from. (Hint: A lot.) Or any number of revived revelations about the likes of Jane Fonda (our first cover girl!), Julia Roberts, Cameron Crowe, Crispin Glover, Andie MacDowell, River Phoenix... even Audrey Hepburn made an appearance in those days.
