The Expendables Comic Con Panel: These Manly Quotes Will Kick Your Ass

We're rounding the clubhouse turn here at Hall H at Comic Con with a huge shot of testosterone. It's a very, very large hall here, but I just don't know if it's equipped to handle this amount of sheer, masculine force. I think the entire building may sprout a gigantic bicep or, failing that, an extra set of balls. Ladies and Gentlemen, it's Sylvester Stallone and the cast from The Expendables.

Joining Sly on the dais was Terry Crews (who ripped off his shirt and flexed his abnormally huge pecs), Steve "Stone Cold" Austin, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, and very briefly Bruce Willis. Enjoy some of the manliest quotes from one of the manliest panels ever.

Terry Crew: "This is a love letter to all action movie fans. And this is the manliest movie ever made!"

Dolph Lundgren on reuniting with his former Rocky co-star: "We beat the crap out of each other 25 years ago, and I really wanted to do it again."

Sylvester Stallone on the gung-ho nature of the cast: "I could tell them, hey, we're gonna run you over with a truck tomorrow and they'd be like, "what time?"

Stone Cold Steve Austin, after it was revealed that he fractured Stallone's neck in a fight: "When the writer, the director and the lead actor tells you to kick the shit out of him, then I'm gonna kick the shit out of him!"

Panel moderator Harry Knowles on his set visit: "I would see Jason Statham playing with knives and he would detail how many different ways he could kill me with them."

Stallone on other possible action icons that could've joined the cast: "I reached out to some of the other guys from back in the day -- Van Damme, Segal, Chuck Norris -- and it couldn't quite work it out, whether because the timing was off or because of insanity."

Stallone on catching an accidentally thrown real punch "Accidents happen and you know if you like the guy, you just shake it off. But if you don't the like the guy...well, you can't wait for the second take to take your turn. Demolition Man was a lot like that.
