Comic-Con Live Blog: Salt

The stars keep burning bigger and brighter here in Hall H at Comic Con 2010. We started with Will Ferrell and TIna Fey, moved on to Jeff Bridges and Olivia Wilde, and now, the Empress of All Known and Unknown Worlds, Angelina Jolie, is gracing us with her celestial presence as the Salt panel is about to begin.

1:15 Enter the Jolie. Every flashblub in the world just went off at once.

1:17 Director Philip Noyce describes Salt star Liev Schreiber thusly, "One of the greatest actors working today." And the crowd goes wild in agreement.

1:18: Jolie admits to using The Method for all her acting, and relied on it heavily to keep the movie grounded.

1:20: Jolie on her stunt hi-jinks: "I had a simple stunt where I was supposed to jump through a door and roll on the ground, but I rolled right into a desk, and cracked my head a bit. Now I've got a scar. And then I got worried one day after a take because I couldn't hear anyone! Then, I realized I still had my earplugs in from the gunfire."

1:23 Director Noyce wowed this hardbitten crowd with his Lo-Fi cred: "Rather unusually for a summer movie, there is no CGI Angelina, no stunt double. It's all her." Applause, applause, applause.

1:27 Schreiber reveals his secret process on whether on not he will perform a stunt himself: "Am I going to bump my head or face? Is there anything fast coming at me? Will it hurt my back? How much ice will I need to apply after? Those are my criteria for whether I chose to do a stunt myself."
