Neve Campbell's Scream 4 Hairdo May Have Been a Red Herring

Things may be looking up for the beleaguered Scream 4 today! First, Hayden Panettiere lent her support to a script she'd previously been rumored to hate, and now it appears that Neve Campbell's hairdo for the film -- once assumed to be a radical Selma Blair chop -- may have simply been an optical illusion. Hey, it's a start.

Last month, Access Hollywood lioness Nancy O'Dell tweeted a picture from the film's makeup trailer, where Campbell's cropped 'do appeared to make its debut. Today, though, David Arquette tweeted a new picture from the set of an EW photoshoot tied to the film, and it seems that Campbell was the victim of a bad angle a few weeks ago, because that right there is a full head of hair:

So, let us correct the record: Neve Campbell is not playing Selma Blair in Scream 4. Instead, she may be playing Sara Ramirez, or possibly Julianna Margulies from The Good Wife. Duly noted!
