'Too Hot for Comic-Con' Piranha 3D Sort of Gets to Comic-Con

Leave it to the Weinstein Company to find a way to showcase its skintastic summer gorefest Piranha 3D at Comic-Con this week, despite the fact that 'Con organizers deemed the planned sizzle reel too hot for the all-ages audience. The solution: Show it somewhere else!

On Thursday night, away from the restrictions of Hall H, director Alexandre Aja will show some ravenous fans the racy footage, which is reported to be of a wet T-shirt contest that degenerates into a piranha feeding frenzy filled with blood and gore. And boobs. In 3D.

So if you were headed to Comic-Con this week and worried that exploitation was going to be kept at a minimum, you can stop by the Regal Horton Plaza on Thursday night and get your fill of sex and violence. At least until the Yo Gabba Gabba! panel starts on Friday.
