Now Playing: Stephanie Zacharek's Video Review of The Sorcerer's Apprentice
What would you say to one more video review for the week? After all, there is another movie opening this weekend opposite Inception, and chief critic Stephanie Zacharek has that one as well. We're talking of course about the Disney fantasy adventure The Sorcerer's Apprentice, about which there's plenty to know after the jump.
Can Nicolas Cage save the day? Is Jay Baruchel up to his action-hero task? Should Jerry Bruckheimer maybe just direct his own movies from now on? Let's hear it from Stephanie...

Nicolas Cage is an excellent actor, and the movie witch is so cool I paracer Nicolas, kisses
coolness!
I am starting to actively hate these video reviews. Stephanie seems like a very charming person and I enjoy reading her reviews/opinion pieces, but these things? Ugh. "Here are the stars" [video clips ] "Here are the major plot points" [video clips] "Here is a sentence or two about how it looks and moves." [video clips] "It was/wasn't good." What she actually said would barely constitute more than a paragraph.
Unless the studios are paying for these as advertising (which may legitimately be the case), I think you guys can find a better way to integrate the medium than this.
Armond White's new skin as a ginger is terrifying. Seriously. BETTER THAN INCEPTION? That's hilarious. Book report style synopsis, and praise because Nicolas Cage is in it? Seriously movieline I love you but this is one of the worst critics in the U.S.
When's the last time anyone you knew said "I was going to go see Inception, but Stephanie Zacharek panned it?"
"Book report style synopsis, and praise because Nicolas Cage is in it?"
She said Nicholas Cage was GOOD in it.
"When's the last time anyone you knew said "I was going to go see Inception, but Stephanie Zacharek panned it?""
Never. That doesn't mean she's wrong.
