What's On: Mrs. Kathy Goes to Washington

griffinhrc225.jpgTonight, Kathy Griffin joins a rally in Washington urging the repeal of "Don't Ask Don't Tell," and she's not greeted with open arms by some of the bigger movers and shakers. It doesn't help that she's associating with the Human Rights Campaign, a group that's garnered more skeptics than subscribers recently. Will Kathy make a dent on D.C., or will she be dismissed as a slightly more self-aware Salahi?

Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List [Bravo, 9 PM]

Kathy wins an award for the Human Rights Campaign and leads a gay rights rally on the National Mall in Washington D.C. Her visit sounds like a dubious and unentertaining one, but I'll gladly slay it tomorrow in our weekly Reality Check column.

America's Got Talent [NBC, 9 PM]

Twelve acts from the Top 48 take the stage. For all the insults lobbed at judges on American Idol and Project Runway, ATM's entire panel needs a tuneup. Anyway, by this point most of the cheesy circus acts have hopefully been eliminated. A small victory for us.

Make It or Break It [ABC Family, 9 PM]

The guys and girls compete on each other's gymnastics apparatuses to see who deserves more gym space. Boys tripping up on the balance beam? Girls flailing on the pommel horse? Madness!

Pineapple Express [Encore, 8 PM]

Seth Rogen plays a stoner who witnesses a drug-related rumble and escapes with his drug dealer, played by the convincing James Franco. It's not the best effort from either actor, but we can thank Pineapple Express for turning Franco into a deserving phenom.
