Is Taylor Lautner Going to Steal Tom Cruise's 'Always Riding a Motorcycle' Shtick?
Taylor Lautner is a very busy guy! Busy shooting his new thriller Abduction, busy working out (much to his chagrin), and busy taking his hero worship of Tom Cruise a bit too far.
At least, that's what paparazzi pictures from the set of Abduction reveal, as Lautner is once again hopping onto a motorcycle (that's after he's used his motorcycle to repeatedly get close to Kristen Stewart throughout the Twilight series).
Hey! Isn't always riding a motorcycle Tom Cruise's thing? After all, Cruise has iconically mounted mounted motorbikes throughout his career in films like Top Gun, Mission: Impossible 2, and Knight and Day -- hell, he'll even ride one through his own premiere (twice!).
Who does this Lautner whippersnapper think he is, trying to co-opt Tom Cruise's shtick? Sure, the Eclipse star has said before, "I consider Tom Cruise a real hero of mine, and I'd like to build a career like his," but Taylor? At least put on a helmet.

Sorry...Tom Cruise didn't coin the "driving a motorcycle" shtick. He may have won the "I am an opinionated/couch jumping/scientology freak" award...but give Taylor a break. So nobody is allowed to ride motorcycles because Tom Cruise does? Hey Taylor...STAY OFF OPRAH'S COUCH!!!! Or Better yet....dont make any "Blockbuster" movies Taylor....they are on to you!!!
Tom Cruise somehow manages to still look spastic while riding a motorcycle. Well done.
Seriously? Give Taylor a break. He's actually doing his own stunts unlike some actors. I agree with Kim Diel. Taylor isn't even stealing Tom's motorcycle image. Tom's an idol towards Taylor. At least the kid's got a real job :/
