Emmy-Nominated Mike O'Malley to Become Glee's 68th Regular
Talented and Emmy-nominated though it may be, it's hard to argue that the cast of Glee isn't a little overstuffed. During the first season, some of Glee's actors were fighting just to get one line in an episode, and reports about season two (with its surplus of guest stars, potential reality stars, and Stamos) have us a little concerned. So how should we take the news that Mike O'Malley -- so effective in small doses as Kurt's father -- is going to be upped to a series regular?
Give Me My Remote has that scoop, as well as a series of other revelations about the new season:
· The second episode back will be Glee's Britney Spears installment, and ditzy Ralph Wiggum analogue Brittany will its be focus (of course).
· Kristin Chenoweth is returning, and the writers are trying to woo back Neil Patrick Harris, Jonathan Groff and Idina Menzel.
· Jessalyn Gilsig is still a regular and Terri will be trying to win Will back by making him jealous of her new relationship with another man (isn't that what Emma is doing with The Stamos?).
So...what's your over/under on the amount of episodes it will take to find Mike O'Malley a job at the school and a reason to get horizontal with Jessalyn Gilsig?

Glee and True Blood both have the same problems...over stuffed casts and too many plotlines. (also, highly inconsistent writing and performances). Trim it down and FOCUS!
Eh, I don't agree about the overstuffing. Lost had 19 million regulars and I still watched it for it's entire run.
