Hollywood Ink: How Does Saw 3D: The Traps Come Alive Sound to You?
· Lionsgate hopes you like it, because apparently that is the actual title of the seventh film in the horror franchise. All that's missing is Jigsaw rocking a Les Paul and a poofy golden coif on the poster, and maybe "I want to play a game" into one of those talk-box thingies that helped make Frampton Comes Alive! such a watershed of its era. Oh -- and an exclamation point! It needs an exclamation point. Was 7aw 3D already taken? [STYD]
X-Men: First Class adds another mutant, the Jack Ryan series inches closer to its reboot, and more Hollywood Ink after the jump.
· X-Men: First Class keeps piling on the talent, now adding Caleb Landry Jones to the mutant ensemble as paralyzing-scream emitter Banshee. [Deadline]
· The Chris Pine-starring Jack Ryan reboot has a working title -- Moscow -- but no director. No matter! It's headed before cameras in late spring/early fall, according to producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura. [Collider]
· Barry Levinson will direct Brother Jack, a biopic about ex-priest turned street-dwelling human-rights activist Jack Healey. [THR]
· Andy Fickman has signed on to direct Us & Them, Billy Crystal's comedy about generational differences in parenting. He'll play a grandfather who, while watching his daughter's children for a week, "reverts to an old-school-justice style of discipline." Noooo, Grandpa, not another Soap DVD marathonnnn, sobsobsob...
