Lindsay Lohan Sentenced to 90 Days in Jail
Either Lindsay Lohan is still researching her upcoming role as Linda Lovelace, the woman who once said, "I literally became a prisoner [to the porn industry]," or she just screwed the pooch in a sizable way. Yes, Lohan was sentenced to 90 days in prison today for violating her probation in a 2007 drug case by missing court-ordered alcohol education classes. I know who killed Inferno's pre-production schedule. Full disclosure follows.
According to the AP, Lohan did not embrace her new non-6126 jumpsuit quietly.
Lohan burst into tears after the sentencing by Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel.
Lohan was not required to immediately surrender but will have to turn herself in on July 20. She will also be required to enter an inpatient rehab program after her release from jail.
The ruling came during a hearing set for the "Mean Girls" star after she missed a court date in May. She has been required to wear an ankle alcohol monitor since then.
The monitor issued an alert after Lohan attended the MTV Movie Awards and after-parties.
Time to call upon the teary-eyed mentorship of director/So You Think You Can Dance judge Adam Shankman, who just Tweeted: "Wow! Lindsay Lohan going to jail AND sentenced to rehab. This could save her life..."

A more appropriate punishment would be for Lohan to spend 90 days listening to her two released "albums."
Won't she be back on the streets and in the bars after a couple of hours because of LA's over crowded jails?

Isn't he the douche who let underage Miley Cyrus grind on him? Even if he is gay, that was completely inappropriate. Not exactly the kind of person to be giving out advice on personal matters.
Unless she has really pissed off the judge she will probably do no more than a few days in jail, given how overcrowded LA county jails are, but the mandatory rehab will probably be a lot longer.
Come on. That should only be used as a sentence for serious felonies!
Lindsay really is a good example of all the things wrong in the USA today. I seriously can't fathom why Lindsay still gets so much media attention.
