Is This a New Image from Conan or Unicorn Fan Art?
The new Conan movie is a funny thing. When blurry, faraway pictures leaked of star Jason Momoa in costume, the general reaction was, "Hey, not so bad." Since then, though, the production has released some iffy official photos that seem designed to take a massive broadsword to that small reserve of potential goodwill. What happened this weekend?
The picture above is what happened. Yeah, you're saying "Ooof" to yourself, and it's a very justified "Ooof." All Momoa needs is a unicorn and/or pegasus rising up triumphantly beside him, and you could slap on an overinflated price tag of $200 and sell it at a small gallery in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In fact, let's go with a pegasus. Photoshop wizards, start your engines:

I feel this uncontrollable urge to paint both of those images onto a van and drive out into the desert blasting Rush the whole time.

No...no it would not... Conan is about as Manly as you get with scifi/fantasy... keep yer girly unicorn/pegasi stuff to the twilight alumni.
I would really, really like to see someone shop this and put the real Conan's face on this poster, with a Team Coco logo in the corner. A unicorn added in would just be an added bonus.

seriously have little excitement about this movie. I have nothing negative to say about Jason Mamoa, ( ie,..he sucks,..ect..) BUT he IS NOT Conan. sorry,.. bad casting. he's not nearly big enough ( and NO, I'm not suggesting they get Arnold, or some wrestler). I know it's hard to cast, but that's what casting agents are supposed to do. find the right person. there's nothing special about the way he looks. insert any cast member from 300 and it's pretty much the same thing. Conan is a larger than life intimidating presence. while Arnold's version wasn't perfect,..he had the PRESENCE.... and when standing next to a normal sized man, or even larger men,..he was still intimidating. This guy just doesn't have that. when i ( or half the other people at my gym ) am in as good as shape as the guy playing CONAN, then,... they got the wrong guy. ( at least the hair looks cool. )
