Eclipse Producer Tricked Into Confirming Kristen Stewart/Robert Pattinson Romance
By this time, anyone associated with the Twilight saga knows that there's a party line to toe when it comes to questions concerning the much gossiped-about real-life relationship between Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson: you either deny its existence, or you clam up and refuse to talk about it. Perhaps producer Wyck Godfrey could use a refresher, because a wily Time interrogator was able to get him to speak about it -- at length! -- just by phrasing his question in a manner Godfrey wasn't used to:
Everyone is talking about whatever is going on between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Is that good for business?
Do you want the honest answer? I haven't even thought of it that way.
That's not the honest answer.
It really is. I honestly don't think of it in terms of business. It doesn't affect our core business at all. The thing I do think about is, Oh my God, I hope they stay together. Because it could be awkward on set in the next movie if they have a huge falling out. It's like, Wow, they have to portray this love story through two more movies. God, I hope they stay together; please stay together. That's what affects my day-to-day.
But you walk by newsstands and it's a publicist's dream: they are on every cover.
I don't feel it's out there anymore. Do people still report on it? If you look at people who have a stable personal life, the rags get tired of them. I think we're heading to that place where they are together and that's their life and we better find someone new to create drama out of.
"Do people still report on it?" Oh, that's cute. When Kristen Stewart's PR team buries Godfrey in a landfill for his insolence, at least there will be plenty of In Touch, People, and Us cover stories for him to catch up on.

Oh please. They're each others beards at most. The showmance was created to sell more repeat tickets to hormonally charged tweens and frustrated soccer moms.
I used to believe they were together...until I watched Rob's interview on Jay Leno's. When Rob read his father's very formal emails to him, displaying very conversative points-of-view (...recently...I could not help but notice the celebrities, here...how vulgar they are!). Rob confessed to be very fond of his father's emails (I love...love to receive them), and showed great love and respect for his father. I could not stop wondering how Rob really feels when his parents stumble upon a photo of his rumored GF flipping people off, allover the media - not to mention the one with the pipe... Wow! His father also advise on another email: "a good gesture, in my opinion, is to kiss a lady's hand - you offer a lady your hand to shake; then a kiss...I impressed your mother that way." Interesting...would Rob need that kind of advice if he, in fact, already had a lady?

Now that the obvious has been confirmed, I hope people can stop talking about them so they can continue with their private lives. They are celebrities not dolls. They are people too and deserve their privacy.
This is just so old. People need to face the fact that they r not together. Robert and Taylor both need to find girlfriends and Kristen is just a lesbian and needs to come out of the closet. Even the lesbians r waiting for her to come out of the closet.
Yes they're together. Can we all go back to our lives now. Anyone who thinks it's PR is an idiot. This kids don't need the PR or beards. Leave them alone and let them have their quiet relationship. What a nice change from so many celebs who insist on selling their love lives.
Good for them keeping their private life to themselves but kinda tacky of Time to even ask that question. Patterson and Stewart are professional and would continue with the movies even if they did break up. Them seem like nice kids considering all the madness surrounding them. Good luck to them.
I think they are together. There is just too much evidence to support it- Isle of Wight, Hungary, Baftas and the London lovefest. PR? Twilight doesn't need it. Kristen doesn't need it. Rob doesn't need it. Logic says they are dating and like to keep it private.
I disagree that they are each others beards. But I do agree that they are not 'together'. This producer's reply really doesn't confirm it so much as he replied based on an assumption which could be wrong.
Pattinson said they are not together. There's not one photo of them kissing despite tons of claims it has been seen. They had separate apartments in Vancouver etc.
I think that they are as they seem, two people that happen to be opposite genders that hung out together to be more comfortable filming and became very good friends. So what that they hop on a plane to here or there. they have the time and the money. it doesn't have to mean anything.
And I don't think that Summit told them to fake it. I think that the tabloids picked it up and ran with it. Summit however may have encouraged them to not fight it since the tabloids would just spin it as 'they are lying to cover it up'. And they likely aren't upset about the buzz.
