What's On: Remember Michael Jackson's Time
Ready to conclude your evening with a tribute to the late King of Pop? ABC's got you covered with a special look back at Michael Jackson's legacy, including a glimpse into the care of his estate and kids in the present day. It could only be better if Vincent Price narrated and said, "There's Joe Jackson closing in to seal your doom." But we can't get what we want sometimes. And for good reason, really.
Friday Night Lights [ABC, 8 PM]
As Jess finally decides to choose between Landry and Vince, Eric figures out that East Dillion is chockablock with football-unrelated problems. I want oil derricks and an environmental message to come into play, though I don't think that's what's going on.
Flashpoint [CBS, 9 PM]
A child-custody battle gets ugly, and eventually the children must be saved with the help of a road-block. Good God! Expect precocious little ones to sell this well. Maybe one of them will be played by Keisha Castle-Hughes dressed as a four-year-old or something.
20/20 [ABC, 9 pm]
The one-year anniversary of Michael Jackson's death is commemorated with a tour of Neverland Ranch and interviews with some the King of Pop's staff. I want the Jackson children to be tearfully referred to as "such P.Y.T.s" throughout.
Happy Gilmore [Encore, 8 PM]
Troublemaking hockey player Adam Sandler takes up golf in this comedy that also features a very pissed-off Bob Barker. Julie Bowen of Modern Family also co-stars, and this time she's not the most anxious member of the ensemble. Cheers to avoiding typecasting.
