Jason Bateman's Special iPhone 4 Privileges

71l853.jpgDid you have to wait in line for hours to get your hands on thew new iPhone 4 today? Jason Bateman didn't -- when the actor showed up at the Grove in LA this morning, an Apple Store worker spotted him and allowed him to jump the long line, ensuring that Bateman could pick up the new phone before anyone else. He was summarily booed. All that Hoffman-kissing goodwill, burned off already! [ONTD]

At first I thought the headline said "Jason Statham's Special iPhone 4 Privileges".
Then I remembered that Jason Statham needs no iPhone, because he delivers the message himself.
    With his glare and fists.

If there is one group of nerds you don't want to mess with, it's nerds waiting in line for the latest iPhone. They'll cut a bitch.

Oh, just because he starred in the funniest show of all time and is one of the funniest actors in film, he gets treated more specially than the rest of us? What is this, a meritocracy?
When I came through kindergarten in the 80's, they learned us that everyone, even Gertrude Henderson, is as special as everyone else. Where's Gertrude Henderson's wait-free iPhone 4? (And don't say she's not getting one because she can't memorize numbers past two)

clearly Movieline wasn't there and is just buying into all the tabloid hit fodder.
however I was. so a couple of facts for ya.
Bateman was waiting with the rest of us in the reserve pick up line. He didn't ask for special service. The store came to him, claiming that they had to take him due to security procedures for 'known persons'. I personally think it rather bunk. i mean if it was the twilight kids or some disney kid sure. then again, they would know a riot would happen and ordered online.
as I said Reserve line. we all had a phone waiting for us guaranteed. so in the end, that he got to jump ahead a bit wasn't keeping any of us from getting a phone.

Is anyone using the Apple wireless keyboard on their iPad? If so, have you come across any problems?

  • Excellent advice nicely introduced. Sorry I understand that's a really rubbish comment, it may be the greatest I could do. I have just integrated this on faves.com
